Senior Associate

Malibu, CA

Lauren is a senior associate attorney at Clarkson. Lauren’s practice has a singular goal: to hold corporations accountable when they fail to deliver on their promises to consumers. Lauren investigates the various products we all use every day—whether in our pantry, medicine cabinet, or laundry room—and enjoys partnering with clients whose experiences with deceptive advertising become the foundation for meaningful consumer protection litigation.

Lauren has pioneered many of Clarkson’s false advertising cases, including the misleading marketing of “reef safe” sunscreen and the material omissions of risk of harm in plastic baby bottles.

She is also active in Clarkson’s appellate practice, where she has drafted several amicus briefs in the United States Supreme Court, in National Pork Producers Council v. Ross, No. 21-468 (merits), and Twitter, Inc. v. Taamneh, No. 21-1496 (merits).

Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied English and competed on the varsity track and field team.

When away from her desk, Lauren can be found exploring local trails, catching a game at Allen Fieldhouse, or keeping up with her toddler—who is currently the fastest moving case on her docket.
