Adrian J. Barrio is a seasoned litigator with nearly three decades of experience handling complex class actions, appellate matters, insurance coverage disputes, healthcare litigation, ERISA claims, consumer protection cases, and product liability matters. He has successfully represented clients on both the plaintiff and defense side, managing cases from inception through trial and appeal. Throughout his career, Adrian has secured numerous published decisions, obtained significant attorney fee awards, and developed a reputation for delivering strategic, results-driven advocacy in high-stakes litigation.

His practice spans all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, class certification, dispositive motion practice, trial strategy, settlement negotiations, and appellate advocacy. He has extensive experience prosecuting and defending matters involving consumer law, unfair competition, healthcare and insurance disputes, catastrophic injury claims, wrongful death actions, and complex business litigation. Adrian's diverse background gives him a unique perspective on both plaintiff and defense strategy, allowing him to effectively evaluate risk, identify opportunities, and guide clients through complex legal challenges.

Following law school, Adrian served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In that role, he worked closely with the court in analyzing complex civil and criminal matters, conducting legal research, and drafting judicial opinions resolving dispositive motions. The experience provided him with valuable insight into judicial decision-making and continues to inform his approach to litigation and advocacy today.

Adrian earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served on the Board of Editors of the Illinois Law Review and received the Rickert Award for Excellence in Legal Publications. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Outside of his legal practice, Adrian enjoys spending time with his family in Southern California. He and his wife, a successful consumer goods executive and entrepreneur, are raising four children whose pursuits in competitive surfing, gymnastics, and elite soccer keep the family active year-round. A Los Angeles native and longtime South Bay resident, Adrian values the strong relationships he has built within the legal profession and the local community.
