Paid Ads Specialist

  • Salary: $80k/yr

We're looking for a Paid Ads Specialist who understands: “Your job is not to build campaigns. Your job is to drive results.” (Shoutout to Bob & Miles at PPC Mastery for that one.) We’re a public interest law firm helping real people—workers, families, survivors, consumers—through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Our marketing is about getting qualified leads into our intake team’s hands so our attorneys can sign clients and change lives. If you’re a fearless, data-driven PPC specialist who wants to do meaningful work (and drive some seriously impressive ROAS while you’re at it), we want to hear from you.

  • Own B2C lead generation like it’s your baby. From initial campaign strategy to post-mortem analysis, you’re the one driving qualified leads to our firm. You test, iterate, optimize, and do it all over again.
  • Be our CRM metrics maven. Track campaign performance, build automations that make our intake team more efficient, and ensure no lead falls through the cracks. If you love a well-organized CRM dashboard, we’re going to get along great.
  • Collaborate with our intake team. Work hand-in-hand with our fabulous intake team to maintain (and raise) our standards for potential client experience. They’re the ones talking to people about contingency-based legal services. Your job is to make sure the right people are calling and clicking.
  • Innovate fearlessly. Got a hunch about a new platform? An idea for creative that might just work? Test it. We’d rather you take smart risks than play it safe with mediocre results.
  • Translate PPC-speak into human. Our attorneys are brilliant legal minds who are also incredibly busy. You’ll need to explain ROAS, CTR, and campaign performance in ways that make sense without making their eyes glaze over.
  • Create scroll-stopping ads. Design high-converting, empathetic, clear, and compelling creative in Canva or Adobe Suite that speaks to people who need legal help.
    • Pitch in on content marketing. When we need help with other creative production or content projects, you are game to roll up your sleeves.
  • Live and breathe PPC in all its forms: Google, YouTube, Reddit, Meta. You know the platforms inside and out, you’ve got the battle scars (and success stories) to prove it, and you’re conversant enough to try some new platforms.
  • Are obsessed with data. You make decisions based on numbers, not feelings (OK, maybe sometimes feelings, but not without looking at the data first!). You know what metrics matter and which ones are just noise.
  • Test relentlessly. You're always running something new: ad copy variants, audience tests, landing page experiments. "Set it and forget it" makes you twitchy.
  • Move fast. You don't wait for permission to optimize. You see an opportunity, you take it (and tell us about it later).
  • Get conversion optimization. You understand landing pages, calls to action, form design, and how every element impacts conversion rate.
  • Can wear multiple hats. Some days you're in the weeds of keyword bidding. Other days you're designing ads in Canva, training intake on lead quality, or presenting campaign results to the partners.
  • Communicate like a human. You can write ad copy that connects emotionally and explain complex campaign strategy in plain English.
  • Actually care about the work. We help people who've been wronged, discriminated against, or taken advantage of. If that mission resonates with you, you'll fit right in.

(Optional) We'd really love it if you:
Understand the plaintiff law firm landscape (or are hungry to learn it). Personal injury, mass torts, sexual assault, consumer protection: you get how these cases work and what makes someone ready to call or click.

  • Track record of scaling campaigns profitably
  • Background in conversion rate optimization and landing page testing
  • Certifications? Cool, but we care more about results
  • Experience with Lawmatics or similar legal CRMs
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for legal advertising
  • Experience in legal marketing (especially plaintiff-side)
  • Salary: $80,000/year
  • Autonomy. We trust you to use your intrinsic expertise to do your job well. You won’t have someone micromanaging your bid strategies.
  • Impact. Your work directly affects someone’s access to justice.
  • Growth. Get in with a new-ish marketing team. We’re building something here.
  • Remote work.
  • A Manager: You’ll work with the Director of Marketing Communications.
  • A law firm that cares. We're talented high performers who are making positive impacts on the world. Corny? Maybe. True? Absolutely.
